Test environments for complex systems

Aviotech implements customer-specific test environments based on the VITE test system approach. The range of applications includes the automation of test and inspection sequences through to the creation of an “Iron Bird” with hardware-in-the-loop / closed-loop capability. Functions that can be implemented include

• External stimulation of the SUT (system under test) via its IO interfaces, including the integration of dynamic models; acquisition of interface communication.
• Real-time stimulation and acquisition of internal SUT data, especially in redundant networks.
• Automatic execution of script-based test cases.
• Visualization for controlling and monitoring the test sequence; representation of the dynamic behaviour of integrated models (e.g. flight/vehicle behaviour).
